A warm welcome to Mophato Private School.

Established in 1993, Mophato Private School takes pride in being one of the few pioneer independent schools in Northern Botswana. Having started with a conventional Primary School only, the school has since expanded to include the High School (2010), Advanced level classes (2018), and Pre-Primary classes (2022). Mophato Private School administers the Cambridge International syllabuses right across board.

Mophato Private School’s operations are guided by eight (8) strategic plan pillars that leverage and feed into each other. These pillars include : Academic Excellence, Sports & Cultural Development, Wellness & Psycho-Social Support, Inclusive Enrolment & Management, and Community Outreach & Green Energy. The anchor and bedrock upon which all else rests is Academic Excellence and it is this distinctive trait that the public has come to associate with our school. 

Indeed, Mophato Private School is a forward-looking international school that is on an upward growth trajectory and that aims to stay relevant in a fast-evolving globalised modern world.

History

Mophato Private School (MPS), a not-for-profit, co-education day school, was founded by a small group of inspired, visionary, and community spirited Batswana. For the Primary School, the first intake was in 1993 while for the High School, the pioneer Form 1 class was received in 2010. In 2017, MPS introduced A- Level classes.

Mophato Private School, in pursuance of excellence, endeavors to develop individuals into citizens who contribute positively towards society and national development; individuals who are equipped to deal with global challenges and demands of life with confidence.

Through close collaboration with all stakeholders, teamwork and continuous assessment, we endeavor to provide world-class service and produce individuals, regardless of colour or creed, who are accountable, respectful, self-motivated and with positive values.
